In sports games like Madden, can you start franchises like you can in other game consoles?

My computer is in the same room as the wii. About 5 feet away. The computer has a modem connected to it and connected to the modem is the cable. I have high speed cable broadband connection. Windows Vista operating system.
What do I need to buy, install, or do to connect to the internet with my wii to get stuff or to play mario kart with people of the world.

For all of you who have played Phantasy Star Online for the gamecube: are there any Wii games out now or going to come out that function similar to PSO. This meaning that four different people can play with four different characters on four different consoles, and then get together and all play multiplayer together, and then go back and play on their own different consoles?

Also, does anyone know if that is even possible on the Wii?

I downloaded Super Mario 3 and Super Mario Bros on Virtual Console and i have 1 wii remote and 2 gamecube controllers. How do i use Wii remote and Gamecube controller for a two player game? I figured out how to use one or the other but when it is the 2nd players turn neither one will work.

I have a classic controller i just bought but if i can use the GC controller with Wii remote i am going to take the classic controller back.

I have a router, which is hooked up to my boyfriends computer. We set up the internet on the wii, and the internet did work on it. Now though, whenever my boyfriend wants to use the internet on his compute,r he has to unplug the router from his cmoputer and then plug it back in and then it works. Does anybody else have problems with the internet working on both the wii and the computer? Any suggestions? Thanks!

I’m sending in my son’s Wii for repair to Nintendo because it does not read Gamecube games. However, he would rather not send it in if all the Wii internal memory will be wiped clean. Everything else works fine except the Gamecube part. He has a Gamecube so it’s not urgent that we fix this.
